Treasury says more than 60 million children auto-enrolled in Trump Accounts

The Treasury Department said Thursday that more than 60 million American children under 18 have been automatically enrolled in Trump Accounts, in an announcement provided exclusively to CNBC. The Treasury proposed regulations Tuesday to begin auto-enrollment, ending the requirement for parents or guardians to sign up; only about 7-8 million children were enrolled before the change.
