President Donald Trump said high gasoline prices are a "small price to pay" for the ongoing war with Iran. The U.S. national average gas price was $4.46 on Sept. 18, up from $3.20 a year earlier, according to AAA, and a June poll found 67% of respondents said rising gas prices caused them financial hardship.
