Turkey's Financial Stability Committee ends Borsa İstanbul meeting, says no fundamental or structural risk

Turkey's Financial Stability Committee, chaired by Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek, concluded its September 17 meeting, saying there is no fundamental or structural risk to Borsa İstanbul and capital markets. It said the problem is concentrated in some funds of a limited number of portfolio management companies and is temporary and manageable, and that the Treasury will take all necessary measures swiftly.
