Turkey's fund liquidation bill passes TBMM Plan and Budget Commission

The bill on payments to investors of investment funds under investigation and ordered into liquidation passed Turkey's TBMM Plan and Budget Commission, covering 131 funds and 7 companies. The commission changed the calculation method for payments to fund victims, which provide for interim payments of up to 1 million lira based on net investment amount. The bill is expected to reach the General Assembly next week.
