Turkey's SPK halts trading in 131 funds worth ~809bn TL, orders liquidation

Turkey's SPK halted trading in 131 TEFAS-traded funds run by seven portfolio firms and ordered them liquidated, roughly 809 billion TL affecting 517,000 investors; it has now set out the liquidation formula, with İş Bankası and Ziraat handling payouts. It also filed criminal complaints against 38 people.
