Turkish grain cargo ship hit by Russian drones off Romania; captain killed, Zelensky says

A Turkish-owned cargo ship, the Royad Mammadov, carrying corn was struck by two Russian drones in neutral waters about 20 nautical miles off the Romanian coast, near the Pescăruș oil platform, Ukrainian President Zelensky said. The ship's captain was killed and 11 crew rescued after a fire onboard; Romania's interior ministry confirmed the ship sank outside its territorial waters. A rescue mission was underway.
