UBS weighs shifting headquarters or merging if Swiss capital rules deemed too strict, sources say

UBS is working on possible scenarios including shifting its headquarters out of Switzerland, or a merger with another bank, if the country introduces new banking rules the bank deems excessively strict, according to three people familiar with the matter. The Swiss bank has not confirmed the plans.
