UK Maritime Trade Operations said ship masters anchored near Ras al Khaimah in the UAE were directed over VHF broadcast to leave their anchorages. A maritime security firm reported the IRGC Navy issued the warning over VHF Channel 16 to six vessels about 16.5 nautical miles north-northwest of Ras al Khaimah, ordering them to the Dubai anchorage. Authorities are investigating.
