United Russia leads Russia's Duma election with 57.54% in preliminary results, CEC says

Russia's State Duma election, held 18-20 September, has United Russia leading with 57.54% in preliminary results from the Central Election Commission, after an exit poll cited by IFX projected 49.4%. Turnout topped 56%, above the previous election. The new Duma sits for a five-year term to 2031.
