US 10-year TIPS auction sells $19bn at 2.653% high yield, 1.9bp tail

The US Treasury's $19 billion auction of 10-year TIPS cleared at a 2.653% high yield, a 1.9 basis point tail versus the 2.634% when-issued yield, with bid-to-cover of 2.24. Primary dealers took 12.18%, direct bidders 28.7% and indirect bidders 59.12%.
