US 30-year mortgage rate jumps to 6.95%, fourth straight weekly rise — Freddie Mac

Freddie Mac's weekly survey shows the average US 30-year fixed mortgage rate rose to 6.95% from 6.76% a week earlier, the fourth consecutive weekly increase and the largest one-week jump in 16 months. The 15-year fixed rate climbed to 6.26% from 6.09%.
