US crude stocks rise 922K barrels as distillates draw 2.251M, EIA data show

EIA weekly data for the week of 25 September showed US crude inventories up 922,000 barrels versus an expected 710,000-barrel draw, while distillates fell 2.251 million barrels against a 75,000-barrel build estimate. Gasoline stocks dropped 1.684 million barrels and Cushing rose 553,000 barrels; refinery utilisation fell 1.5%.
