The US, Denmark and Greenland have confirmed an Arctic security deal giving the US permanent basing and overflight rights in Greenland. The US will reopen a base in southern Greenland and establish a presence at a second site in eastern Greenland, three people familiar say. It bars non-NATO bases and is due to be signed next week.
