US diesel hits record $6.31/gal as Iran war disrupts fuel supply
US diesel prices hit an all-time high of $6.31 per gallon on Wednesday as the war with Iran that began with US and Israeli strikes on February 28 disrupts fuel supply; motorists have paid an estimated $107bn in extra gasoline and diesel costs.
