US forces disable cargo vessel attempting to breach Iran naval blockade, CENTCOM says

US Central Command said US forces disabled the Panama-flagged M/V Ocean Molica in the Gulf of Oman on Oct. 10 after its crew ignored warnings and tried to run the naval blockade against Iran; a fighter jet struck its stern with a precision munition, leaving it dead in the water. CENTCOM said it has redirected 135 vessels and disabled four since the blockade resumed July 14.
