US industrial production flat in August, manufacturing output falls 0.3%

US industrial production was unchanged month over month in August, against expectations of +0.3% and a prior +0.2%, while manufacturing production fell 0.3% versus a +0.3% estimate. The Federal Reserve data came in below forecasts.
