US prepares 90-day diesel export ban; US diesel futures sink over 7%, European diesel futures surge over 7%

The US is preparing a 90-day diesel export ban, Politico reports, sending US diesel futures down more than 7% to an intraday low while European diesel futures rose over 7% to a session high on Sept 23. Marathon Petroleum also fell to a session low, down 2.5%.
