Xi's White House state visit ends; US and China agree to cut tariffs on $30bn of goods, extend trade truce to January

Xi Jinping's U.S. state visit ended with little concrete progress, Al Jazeera reported. After talks with President Trump, the two sides agreed to cut tariffs on $30 billion of goods and extended the U.S.-China trade truce, due to expire in November, to January.
