VW and Audi recall nearly one million cars in Germany, 2.86 million worldwide, over faulty steering-gear screw

Volkswagen confirmed a recall of around 2.86 million vehicles worldwide, including almost one million in Germany, covering Volkswagen and its Audi unit, over a potentially faulty screw connection on the steering gear, according to German transport authority KBA.
