Iran proposes seven-day plan to US, via Qatari mediators, to reopen Strait of Hormuz and start nuclear talks, FM Araghchi says

Iran's foreign minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran has presented the US, through Qatari mediators, with a seven-day plan to end hostilities, reopen the Strait of Hormuz and begin comprehensive nuclear negotiations, and is awaiting a US response. Iran is willing to defer its demand for transit fees through Hormuz but not to give up administrative control of the strait, which Gulf states have rejected, pressing for freedom of navigation.
