Xi's White House state visit ends; trade truce extended to January

Chinese President Xi Jinping's three-day U.S. state visit ended with ceremony but little concrete progress, Al Jazeera reported. The U.S.-China trade truce, which had been due to expire in November, has been extended to January, giving both sides more time to negotiate. Xi also announced China will invite 100,000 young Americans to study there over five years and send two giant pandas to Zoo Atlanta.
